Horizon HD-TC8

The all new HD-TC8 is the latest generation meter for the Global uptake of VSAT installations, measuring BPSK / QPSK / 8PSK, DigiCipher II and Turbo Code formats. Specifically designed for the new “Tooway internet service on Hotbird 13E KA band”.
Designed with a generous storage of up to 256 transponders, including the flexibility of 16 user customisable selections for onsite unique carriers. The transmission signals can be isolated with this precise and accurate installation tuner, reducing the time to detect the downlink path and hence frustration in the often challenging environments of VSAT use.
As with this type of system, battery supply is important for field and remote locations, so this Meter comes built with a long life high-output Lithium-Polymer rechargeable battery pack, supplying 15V DC at 2400mAh, capable of providing more than 6 hours continuous run time.

The latest addition to the award winning range from Horizon is a Combination Satellite and Terrestrial Meter offering a much-needed solution for the requirements for both Home and Commercial installations.
The HD-STM is a lightweight, simple to use yet professional instrument for perfectly aligning satellite dishes and Digital antenna.
The onscreen menu maintains Horizons philosophy of “keep it clear and simple”; this can either guide you with “hints” or allows customization for your own typical use and settings, reducing the overall testing time.
The Terrestrial menu can sort and suggest transmitters via postcode, region or even favourites; these can be compared with other transmitters to ensure a best fit for the client.
The Satellite installation can identify channels and report back the readings in a real-time non calculated (pre-BER/MER) as well as post-BER, which is of great assistance should the channel strength vary at different
times of the day.

The New HDSM USB PLUS brings you all of the great functionality of the original HDSM series along with additional features only usually found on high end test and installation equipment.
A clear and easy to use spectrum analyzer is a great tool to have at the point of installation and the new HDSM USB PLUS gives you maximum flexibility at an affordable price.
The QPSK constellation diagram makes detailed diagnosis of digtal satellite signals simple. The new Data Logging feature enables you to create a record of your own installations for upload to your PC.
Up to 64 satellite selections can be stored by creating your own preferred list directly from the Horizon Global Electronics web site. Rapid access and recall of the last selection used make the HDSM USB even easier to use on multiple installations.
The HDSM USB comes complete with mains charger cable, in car charger and USB lead for data transfer.

Horizon Digital Cable Meter

The all-new HD-CM is the latest offering from Horizon Global Electronics to satisfy the need to measure and confirm installation of the increasing popularity of Cable Media installations. The HD-CM offers an easy to use, fast, accurate and affordable solution to precise downstream measurement and fault diagnosis.
As needed with this type of system for the ground engineer, the Meter is fast on start up and recognition of feed information with its Rapid Scan of downstream centre frequencies, with an easy to read screen, Logging Report and Slope comparison.
Fully compliant to ITU-T J.83 standards for DVB-C applications covering Annex A, B & C, as well as multi-lingual support, this Meter is sufficient for the majority of Global Cable use, to include up to 120 AC or DC Volt input
protection and measurement system.
