Pace MDC1000 is a “head-end in a box” providing digital video, broadband and telephony to customers in cable TV networks, multi-dwelling units, hotels and gated communities. It is a convenient solution for analog switch over, enabling digital Standard and High Definition TV, Broadband and VoIP (Telephony). Traditional cable networks are supported with DVB-C and EuroDOCSIS/DOCSIS output, and IPTV networks are supported via both Ethernet and video over EuroDOCSIS/DOCSIS. The MDC1000 is a 19” 4U chassis-based solution combining Smart Transmodulation with IPTV capabilities and EuroDOCSIS/DOCSIS support.

The chassis houses six input modules and three output modules: Current input modules support DVB-S/S2, DVB-ASI and DVBT. Input modules can be mixed and matched as desired. Output is QAM- and IP-based, and also supports Video over EuroDOCSIS/DOCSIS.
